WoodBits Terms and Conditions

This website advertises wood turned goods for sale in New Zealand only. Exporting or importing wood is generally too fraught an endeavour for a hobby Wood Turner who simply wants to make things and hopefully sell some of them to enable him to keep developing his craft.

All goods for sale have been made by WoodBits. There is only one of each item for sale.

Photographs intend to show a clear picture of the item for sale. Please check the item carefully as wood items cannot be as 'perfect' as a similar plastic item. Wooden items have natural characteristics that may change with positioning or the effects of time, sunlight and heat. If unsure about anything, please email your question prior to buying.

For postage, some details are collected and stored within the website database. These details are only kept within the database long enough to comply with legal requirements. A copy of the data is retained on a local networked hard disk drive also for legal purposes.

At present, postage is for NZ Post charges from Christchurch and is determined by your region as entered in your billing/shipping address. NZ Post charges are $7.50 local, $12.00 for South Island non rural and $22.00 for North Island non rural. NZ Post charges an extra rural delivery fee of $5.50 throughout NZ; if you have a rural address please tick the rural check box so the fee is added.
